Stargazers baffled by bright UFO which darted around the skies above Western Russia

Russian sky watchers were amazed when they spotted what they believe is a UFO in the sky.

At first footage of the lattice-like sphere of light seems nothing more than a tiny light in the sky.

But when the woman filming zooms in, obviously using high-end equipment, the luminous object appears more like a large ball with micro-structures  visible within.

In fact, it almost looks like a small sea creature under a microscope.

The sky-gazer  filming zooms in and out to emphasize the object’s scale –  it is too small to be the moon yet too big to be any other easily identifiable object.

As something seems to be moving on the surface of the unidentified object, the filmier is heard saying: ‘And there is also a strip moving on it, a grey one. Look at it.’

There is still no information about the nature of the object which was captured the in the sky above the city of Ryazan’  in western Russia.

Ball lightning is an atmospheric phenomenon that produces luminous spheres, but they are much smaller than the one in the video, ranging from pea size to a few metres in diameter, and only last a few seconds before disappearing or exploding.
